NioGold Mining Corporation (TSX-V: NOX) is a mineral exploration company focused on gold. The Company’s flagship projects are located in the Cadillac - Malartic - Val-d’Or region of the prolific Abitibi gold mining district Quebec. The Cadillac, Malartic and Val-d’Or mining camps have produced over 45 million ounces of gold since the 1930’s and presently encompasses six producing gold mines including Osisko Mining’s new Canadian Malartic operations. NioGold’s land holdings within the Abitibi presently cover 130km2 including the Marban Block (8% of NioGold’s Abitibi land holdings) with 43-101 resources of 2,069,000 ounces gold in three deposits, namely: Marban in-pit 20,700,000 tonnes M&I grading 1.58 g/t plus 3,780,000 tonnes inferred grading 1.6 g/t and Marban underground 980,000 tonnes M&I grading 2.82 plus 800,000 tonnes inferred grading 2.68 g/t (total 1,405,000 oz gold); Norlartic 5,420,000 tonnes M&I grading 1.82 g/t plus 3,200,000 tonnes inferred grading 1.44 (total 464,000 oz gold); and Kierens 1,440,000 tonnes M&I grading 2.19 g/t plus 1,780,000 tonnes inferred grading 1.73 g/t (total 200,000 oz gold). The gold resources are defined along a three-kilometer segment of a regional gold mineralized fault zone, in and around the former Marban, Norlartic and Kierens gold mines, which collectively produced 600,000 ounces of gold. NioGold controls a 20 km (12.5 miles) segment of this prospective fault zone. NioGold’s experienced and qualified technical team are overseeing the advancement of these projects, with current drill programs underway targeting expansion of the resource base.
